Terms

Project fees are set prices.  Any requests outside of this Scope of Work (either out-of-scope changes or incremental work) will be quoted separately and submitted for budget approval before additional work is initiated. Project fees are payable as follows:  50% upon Scope of Work/Contract approval and 50% upon final delivery, for projects over $500; full payment on signing of contract and prior to work beginning for projects under $500. Invoices will be submitted for all fees including deposits. Deposit invoices are payable upon receipt, balance invoices are Net 30 All payments should be made via our invoice links. Client assumes responsibility for any and all transaction fees. Little Lighthouse Press LLC reserves the right to invoice for work completed to-date in the case of projects that are suspended by the client for longer than a period of three weeks. Once the final deliverable is approved by Client, additional revisions may be invoiced as incremental at Little Lighthouse Press’s discretion. Cancellation Fee: If, for any reason, project work is discontinued, Client is responsible to compensate Little Lighthouse Press LLC for the services performed through the date of termination in the amount of (a) any advance payment, (b) a prorated portion of the fees due, or (c) hourly fees for work performed as of the date of termination, whichever is greater. Client is also responsible for any expenses, fees, out-of-pocket costs incurred through and up to, the date of cancellation. Two rounds of revisions are included in each project, unless otherwise noted in the Scope of Work. If the client accepts first draft and requests no further changes or incorporates changes in-house, full project fee will be due. If the client cancels the project after delivery of the first draft, full project fee will be due but may be prorated at the discretion of Little Lighthouse Press LLC. Comments received post invoice submission or payment will be integrated at no additional charge if they are within the scope of work described in this scope of work. Rush Charge: If all or any part of the work must be completed in a shorter time frame than stated in the Scope of Work, Little Lighthouse Press LLC retains the right to apply a minimum 15% rush fee to that portion of the work. Independent Contractor: Little Lighthouse Press LLC is a registered business, not an employee of Client or any company affiliated with Client. Little Lighthouse Press LLC provides services under the general direction of Client, but shall determine the manner and means by which the Services are accomplished. This engagement does not create a partnership or joint venture and neither party is authorized to act as agent or bind the other party. No Exclusivity: The parties expressly acknowledge that this engagement does not create an exclusive relationship between the parties. Client is free to engage others to perform services of the same or similar nature to those provided by Little Lighthouse Press LLC on other projects, but will not engage others to perform similar services on this same project unless agreed upon by all parties in the initial Scope of Work, and Little Lighthouse Press LLC shall be entitled to offer and provide services to others, solicit other clients, and otherwise advertise services offered by Writer. Terms, fees, and schedule contained in this Scope of Work are valid for 60 days from submission to Client.
